apex ..page cannot be displayed [message #229472]

i have installed apex successfully and but when i run the link
http://host:port/pls/apex
it returns the page cannot be dislayed...
q1:whats the syntax for updating the portlist.ini file with the port number 7777 for apex
q2:in the documentating oracle says to save the marvel.conf file in the directory name ORACLE_BASE\ORACLE_HOME\Apache\modplsql\conf\
BUT when i search for the Apache directory it does not exist...
i am using ORACLE10G RELEASE 10.1.0.2.0
is apaceh server is not configured in my system and i have to configure HTTP server..?
whats the step...
