I have a rather electic query I'm looking for an answer for. Does anyone know how to solve the following? Do I just create a couple of tables run the query and see what results are returned?

From these two tables how many records do they return?
A B
X X
1 1
2 2
2 3
3 3

I need more information. Please define the input data and then define the desired output.

Sorry,

This was all the info I have. The message didn't quite format the way it was displayed in my email. I was told it's a technical question a manager likes to ask potential employees.

Thanks,
