Hi,

I've to make amends to an existing report, this report has a
Main Frame and within it a couple of repeating frames.
I want to add another repeating frame, after the Main Frame but enclosing the existing repeating frames.

Is there a straight-forward way of doing this without having to take the inside stuff off and replacing ?

Thanks
Heather

hi
create another repeating frame(r_1) big enough so that it easily encloses your child frame(r_2), then choose r_2 in object navigator(you cannot chose it in layout editor since its behind r_1) then swith to layout editor again and press F5(Arrange->Bring to front, also set confine mode off while doing this), continue the same operation for fields in r_2 until they are enclosed in r_2 again. Then check in object navigator , such that your herirachy is again
(-)r_1
(-)r_2
fields of r_2

Luck Always
