i am scheduling reports 3.0 from windows scheduler to run. once the report is completed / finished i need to send an e-mail that report job is completed . How can i send the e-mail to the user.

Still in Reports 3.0 [ Old stone age ] !!!!
From Reports 6.0 onwards your requirement is made available .
Set the command line option as follows:
Notifysuccess=[email_address]
Notifyfail=[email_address]
