I am executing exp command from my laptop windows 7 enterprise 32 bit on a remote database:
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit
PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
CORE 10.2.0.1.0 Production
TNS for IBM/AIX RISC System/6000: Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Productio
NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production

I am getting the following error:
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 904 encountered
ORA-00904: "POLTYP": invalid identifier
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
Need help

You should have posted more information. From what you posted, it is unclear which Oracle versions are involved in this operation. It appears that they are not the same. If that's so, you should initiate export using lower export utility version of the two.

Copy and paste the complete listing including the command line (and parameter file if used).
