Hello,

I wanted to ask you what is your experience when it comes to XML storage and access in Oracle?

  1. Is it a better idea to use SQL (without any programming), PL/SQL or JAVA code to access/filter/preprocess such data on Oracle server? Why?
  2. How significant is the difference between Oracle 10.2 and 11 when it comes to XML support?
  3. Any things that should be taken into concern before implementing XML support in Oracle DB (and PL/SQL)?
  4. Any known bugs/issues that are not fixed about XML support?
